Hello!

I’m Millie (she/her), a 24-year-old photographer and filmmaker from Hampshire, UK. I’m drawn to shapes and stories, particularly in nature, and try to capture them in different ways.

Wildlife and nature has always been my special interest. I have recorded this through collecting specimens, making art and taking stills for as long as I can remember. Now, I use film to tell stories surrounding flora and fauna, and try to integrate art where I can.

I studied a BSc in Zoology at the University of Bristol, before relocating to Aotearoa New Zealand to study for a masters. Prior to this, my only experience of NZ was my fathers balcony in Vauxhall. Covered in native harakeke and kowhai, it was his little oasis of his home after emigrating to London in the 90s.

At the University of Otago I studied for a Master’s in Applied Science in Science Communication, endorsed in Natural History Filmmaking (quite the mouthful). See my Film page for some of my work. I also worked different roles at NHNZ Worldwide alongside and after my studies.

I am currently available for researcher and runner roles in London and Bristol. Please get in touch if you would like to see my CV.
